15 July 2020, 3-4.15pm UK timeThe event will follow the release of the report on collective punishment of Michael Lynk, the UN Special Rapporteur for Human Rights in the occupied Palestinian territory, to the 44th UN Human Rights Council.
MAP joins Adalah, Al Mezan Center for Human Rights, Al Haq, the Palestinian Centre for Human Rights and the Cairo Institute for Human Rights Studies to discuss the collective punishment of 2 million people in Gaza carried out with impunity over 13 years. MAP’s Director of Advocacy and Campaigns, Neil Sammonds, will describe the impact of the closure on Gaza patients’ health as well as on its health sector.
